The paper guide surface 54 has a protrusion 55 that projects to the direction of the cut sheet 11c in the area other than the central part in the paper width direction of the cut sheet 11c, while having a step one level lower than a passage area in the planer direction of the recording sheet 11. The cut sheet 11c is held so that the upper stream side cut surface may block a part of the passage area of the conveyed recording sheet 11 by the paper guide surface 54 and the protrusion 55.
