PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene based thermoplastic resin outer case for a conduit, especially a remote heat transfer conduit, which can be enhanced in ductility or flexibility without substantially degrading mechanical properties of the outer case. SOLUTION: The outer case 3 is characterized in that: (a) the outer case 3 is foamed or expanded; (b) E module of an outer case material is in between 90 MPa and 300 MPa; and (c) density of the outer case material is in between 0.560 g/cm 3 and 0.850 g/cm 3 , and the thermoplastic resin is a low density linear polyethylene or a copolymer of ethylene, preferably a low density polyethylene based copolymer. SOLUTION: The flexible pipe body includes a fluid retaining layer, at least one extensible protection layer, at least one extruded thermal-insulation layer provided over the outermost layer of the at least one extensible protection layer, and an outer shield layer provided over the thermal-insulation layer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin roll reduced in the difference of physical properties at least in the axial direction (longitudinal direction) and radial direction of the obtained resin roll and capable of being manufactured continuously. SOLUTION: First and second sheets 92 and 94 are supplied in a predetermined direction and gradually molded into a long double cylindrical body 90 by allowing both end edges of both sheets 92 and 94 to approach each other in an upper region. Further, a flowable resin raw material M is injected in the upper opening region of the sheet 92 in the process for molding the long double cylindrical body 90. Then, the flowable resin raw material M is transferred through a required number of molding pipes 20 in the state involved in the long double cylindrical body 90 and heated at least according to a dielectric heat generating theory to be reacted and cured to form a long resin roll product LR.
