Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying apparatus for an image forming apparatus, which prevents deformation of a roller using an elastic body. SOLUTION: A fixing roller 10 is supported to be rotatable with respect to fixing side plates 36a and 36b. A pressure roller 11 is supported to be rotatable with respect to pressure side plates 39 and 40. Pressure variable members 33 and 34 are supported to be turnable around rotation supports 41 provided to the pressure side plates 39 and 40. The right and left pressure variable members 33 and 34 are connected by a shaft 35, and the shaft 35 is connected to a link 31. When the image forming apparatus is turned off, the pressure variable members 33 and 34 are rotated accordingly, and the attitude of the link 31 is changed to separate the fixing roller 10 from the pressure roller 11. Thus, when the pair of rollers is not used for a long period of time, a user can surely release the pressure-contact between the fixing roller 10 and the pressure roller 11, without forgetting it. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like paper sheet double-feed preventive member (separation pad) which is adaptable to various paper sheets due to excellent separation function without considerably complicating its structure compared with a conventional separation pad, hardly abraded, and hardly generates any chattering vibration, squeaking or the like. SOLUTION: The plate-like paper sheet double-feed preventive member 3 includes an outer layer 8 in contact with paper sheets 5, and an inner layer 9 stacked on the outer layer 8. The type A durometer hardness of the inner layer 9 is ≥A5/S and ≤A60/S, or its C-type hardness is ≥C5 and ≤C50, and the rubber hardness of the outer layer 8 is higher than that of the inner layer 9. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability on a paper feed roller by restricting lowering of friction coefficient and the generation of squeal phenomenon due to repetition of paper feeding. SOLUTION: This paper feed roller is formed of a core body and a cylindrical rubber roll fitted on the peripheral surface of the core body, and the rubber roll has three-layer structure formed of an inner layer, an intermediate layer and an outer layer. All the inner layer, the intermediate layer and the outer layer is formed from a non-foaming layer, and JIS-A hardness of the inner layer is set at 10 degrees or less, and JIS-A hardness of the outer layer is set at 25-60 degrees. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport apparatus that stably transports a sheet even after a long-term use, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A plurality of shutters 121 (121A-121C) to be brought into contact with a sheet in the width direction orthogonal to the sheet transport direction, are formed in a protruding manner on a shutter member 12 for correcting a skew of the sheet. In the shutters 121 (121A-121C), a contact part to be brought into contact with a leading end of the sheet is formed of a metal thin plate member 1211. Wear resistance of the contact part is higher than the wear resistance of a shutter body 1210 with the contact part formed thereon.

A paper-feeding roller ( 3 ) including a core ( 2 ) and a rubber roll ( 1 ) mounted on a peripheral surface of the core ( 2 ). The rubber roll ( 1 ) has a three-layer construction composed of an inner layer ( 11 ), an intermediate layer ( 12 ), and an outer layer ( 13 ). The inner layer ( 11 ), the intermediate layer ( 12 ), and the outer layer ( 13 ) are a non-foamed layer respectively. The JIS-A hardness of the inner layer ( 11 ) is set to not more than 10 degrees. The JIS-A hardness of the outer layer ( 13 ) is set to a range of 25 to 60 degrees.
