    摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of avoiding a situation that a mechanical failure occurs frequently such as a jam due to frequent use of deteriorated feed roller at a timing earlier than conventional art.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has plural paper feeding sections including replaceable parts, and when feeding a paper, a paper feeding section is selected from the plural paper feeding sections according to the priority in the plural paper feeding sections. The image forming apparatus includes: a monitor unit that monitors the degree of wear of parts included in the paper feeding section; a notification unit that notifies a user when the monitor unit detects a part which has reached the end of service life; an ordering unit that orders the part before the monitor unit detects the end of service life of the part; and a changing unit that changes the priority in the paper feeding section including the ordered part lower than that of the other paper feeding sections.

Furthermore, the pair of rollers forms a nip adjacent to the medium supply tray. The rollers rotate in opposite directions to move the sheets of mediums from the medium supply tray to the medium path. Additionally, a first frame member 104 supports a first roller 102. The first frame member can be in a fixed position and holds the first roller in a fixed location. A second frame member 112 supports a second roller 118. The second frame member is adjustable in a first direction via the first roller and has a variable pivot position making the second frame member move in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
