    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an addition valve seal structure for an ammonia based reducer, the structure capable of sealing the gap, involving restriction in terms of the shape, between the inside surface of the addition valve housing space and the outside surface of the addition valve without causing a problem in the durability.SOLUTION: A seal of resin 28 is to preclude leakage of the exhaust gas or water entry between an air-cooling mechanism 24 and a urea aqueous addition valve 6. Different from an O-ring, this resin seal 28 can be molded into such a shape as adapted to the shapes of the inside surface 24f of the addition valve housing space 24c and the outside surface 6c of the urea aqueous addition valve 6. This provides a seat surface to be sealed satisfactorily even if the shape of the inside surface 24f or the outside surface 6c has restriction. Because of its contacting with an expansion graphite seal 26, the resin seal 28 makes a quick temperature rise, expansion, and increase in the flexibility, and fills the gap between the inside surface 24f and the outside surface 6c and also assures tight attachment. Thus a certain sealing effect can be established.

When pressure air is injected from a flow path 12 into outflow ports 16a, 16b gradually, the parison 13 is formed so as to have configuration of the mold 20 by air flowed out of the small hole 5 of the tube 1, an opening at the lower part of the tube 1 and the hole 16b. In this case, the upper and lower ends of the inner tube 1 are welded to the parison 13 by fusion and are solidified whereby the muffler 10, consisting of a box body 6, a straight tube section 7, the bent tube section 8 an the inner tube 1, may be obtained. Accord ing to this method, the resonance type muffler, having a desired shape may be manufactured simply by blow molding.
