摘要: PURPOSE:To automate the adjustment of an image position for the overlay of a image and paper by reading out plural images on an original placing plate independently, synthesizing and recording the images on a sheet of recording paper and adjusting the synthesizing position in each image. CONSTITUTION:Two originals A, B are set up on an original placing plate glass 34 and a paging key 103 and a mode setting key 113 are depressed to set up a multi-copying mode. When an image shifting mode is set up, the image shifting distance of the original A can be inputted. When the image shifting direction and distance are inputted by a key 104 and ten keys 112 and then the key 113 is depressed, the image shifting distance of the original A is latched by a RAM503 and the image shifting distance of the original B can be inputted. The setting method of the image shifting of the original B is similar to that of the original A and respective data are latched in the RAM503 by depressing the key 113 to end the data input of image shifting.

摘要: PURPOSE:To improve maneuvarability and to obtain a picture of high quality by automatically selecting a frame erasing function at the selection of a paging function, and at the release of the paging function, releasing the frame erasing function as well. CONSTITUTION:To execute paging, two originals A, B are set up on an original glass board 34, a paging key is depressed and then a copy button is depressed. When an optical system is moved and the leading end of a picture formed on a drum coincides with the leading end of transfer paper, the transfer paper is allowed to contact with the drum, and after advancing the optical system by a frame erasing distance (x) from the leading end of the original, a blank exposure lamp is turned off under the consideration of the frame erasing distance (y) in the main scanning direction. When the optical system is advanced and reaches the position located before the back end of the original by the distance (x), all blank lamps are turned on. After executing the frame erasing of the slash part, the picture of the original A is copied, the copied paper is discharged to the outside of the machine, and then the original B is scanned and copied to discharge the copied paper to the outside of the machine similarly.

摘要: PURPOSE:To improve operability and to decrease mis-copying by adjusting automatically the recording position onto copying paper with one time of operation in the stage of copying on both sides. CONSTITUTION:An optical system motor is turned off to stop an optical system and the image of an original is copied when a home position sensor 22 turns on upon retreating of the optical system. Transfer paper is passed through conveying paths 57, 57-1 by a discharge flapper 33 and a multiple flapper 52 and is stored into an intermediate tray 59 in the stage of copying on both sides. When the storage of the transfer paper in the tray 59 is confirmed, the discharge flapper is lowered and an intermediate tray weight 53 is lowered onto the transfer paper. The intermediate tray feed roller is turned on to conduct the transfer paper by each sheet from the lower side to a conveying path 58 and is made to stand by in the position of a resist clutch 15. The optical system is again advanced and when a picture end sensor 21 turn on, the clocks corresponding to the prescribed length are counted. The timing for putting out an exposing lamp 6 is delayed by as much as the margin for binding by waiting for the timing to turn off the blank exposing lamp 60 in the stage of copying on the rear side by taking the margin for binding into consideration when the machine is in the both-side copying mode.

CONSTITUTION:An erasing array 100 as an erasing means is provided in proximity between, for example, an electrostatic charger 11 and exposing part Rh of a photosensitive drum 10. The array 100 has plural pieces of light shielding cells arranged in the direction orthogonal with the rotating direction of the drum 10. A light emitting element is provided in each cell. The lighting of the light emitting elements of the erasing array is controlled by the assigning means which assigns the image forming range and the formation of the image corresponding to the assigned image forming range is prohibited.

CONSTITUTION:An erasing array 100 having the plural light emitting elements 102 is disposed between the electrostatic charging part and exposing part. An array driving part 110 which drives the array 100 is constituted of a switching circuit 114 consisting of a shift register 111, a store register 112 for holding the content of the register 111 and plural switching elements 113 which are on-off controlled by the output signals from the register 112. The image of the region corresponding to the lighted light emitting elements 102 is erased when the elements 102 of the array 100 are lighted up by the part 110.

CONSTITUTION:When two originals A, B are set up on an original placing plate glass 34, a multi-copying mode is set up and then trimming is set up, and unerased range can be inputted. The unerased range corresponds to a part surrounded by coordinates (x1, x2, y1, y2) and (x3, x4, y3, y4). When the trimming is set up, the input of the coordinate x1 is waited. When a distance from the original point is set up by ten key and the position of the coordinate x1 is latched in a RAM, the input of the coordinate x2 is waited. Similarly, the positions of x2, y1, y2, x3, x4, y3, y4 are set up to complete the setting of the coordinates. Consequently, plural image can be trimmed and synthesized only by one operation to record the synthesized picture.

摘要: PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-see copy image which has an invariably small blank by providing a copy magnification setting means which compares a detected image data area with the size of copy paper and sets copy magnification automatically. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 55 receives respective sensor outputs, the output of a reflection density detector 35, and respective timing signals at respective input port and outputs respective control signals from resepctive output ports to set copy density and copy magnification. The reflection density of each picture element in the image area is detected by the photodetecting element group 71 of the reflection density detector 35 and the image area is obtained from the borner between sets of picture elements with a high and a low reflection factor. This image area is compared with the copy paper size obtained with cassette size input keys 571-573; when copy paper of the same size is found, a copy of same size is taken and when not, the microprocessor 55 makes a proper selection of reduction or enlargement to take a copy with specific magnification. In this case, an input voltage corresponding to the maximum and minimum values of reflection factors in the set of picture elements with the low reflection factor is appllied to an irradiation lamp to determine the potential of a drum 1, thereby obtaning a copy image with density determined by development characteristics.

摘要: PURPOSE:To improve operativity and to reduce misscopying by fixing recording positions of the top surface and reverse surfaces of recording paper at either side of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Two originals A and B are placed on original platen glass 34 in both-surface copying mode or page numbering multiple copying mode. A key matrix judges which key is pressed and transfer paper is guided to a register roller 15 by elevating a multiple flapper 52 in page numbering multiple copying mode or lowering the flapper 52 in both-surface copying mode. Registra tion timing is delayed in reverse-surface copying operation so that a binding margin portion is at the right-hand side of recording paper. Then, the transfer paper is brought into contact with a drum to copy the image of the original B to the reverse surface of a form where the image of the original A is copied.
