PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge transport material of an organophotoreceptor having excellent electrostatic properties such as high V acc and low V dis , and to provide an organophotoreceptor, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and an electrophotographic image forming method. SOLUTION: The organophotoreceptor comprises an electrically conductive substrate and a photoconductive element on the electrically conductive substrate, wherein the photoconductive element comprises the charge transport material having formula 1 and a charge generating compound. In the formula 1, X is a linking group; Y 1 and Y 2 are, each independently, phenothiazine, phenoxazine or phenazine; R 1 -R 4 are, each independently, alkyl, alkenyl, a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group; and R 5 and R 6 are, each independently, H, alkyl, alkenyl, a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group. PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity, low residual potential, and superior durability, etc., by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a specified hydrazone deriv. on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A carrier generating layer composed essentially of a carrier generating substance, such as azo type dyes, is formed on a conductive substrate of a metallic plate or the like. The intended electrophotographic receptor is obtained by forming on this layer a carrier transfer layer contg. as a carrier transfer substance a hydrazone deriv. represented by formula I or II in which R1, R3, R5, R7, R9 are each H, alkyl, or aryl; R2, R6 are H or alkyl; R4, R10 are each H or heterocyclic; R8 is H or halogen; and m, n are each 0 or 1. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which image ghost is hardly generated, and an image of a satisfactory image quality can be stably formed over a long period. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: an electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 having an electrically conductive support and a photosensitive layer formed on the support; a charging means 21 for charging the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1; a first exposure means 30 for forming an electrostatic latent image on the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1; a development means 25 for developing the electrostatic latent image by a toner, so as to form a toner image; and a transferring means 40 for transferring the toner image to the medium to be transferred. The apparatus further comprises a second exposure means 29 for uniformly exposing the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1. The photosensitive layer has the outermost surface layer with charge transportability comprising a cross-linking structure. The outermost surface layer comprises an absorption to the exposed light in the second exposure means 29, and also, the maximum absorbance of the outermost surface layer in all the wavelength regions of the exposed light in the second exposure means 29 is ≤0.05. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least a photosensitive layer provided on a conductive support member. The photosensitive layer contains, as a charge transport material, at least one kind of compound selected from compounds resulting from coupling an isoindole component to naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid diimide components, naphthalene carboxylic acid monoimide components, and diphenylamino benzhydrazone components.
