    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a position adjustment mechanism of a crosshead for making work rolls be roll-crossed from being exposed to cooling water.SOLUTION: A manufacturing facility of a hot rolled steel sheet includes a cooling device 3 for cooling a rolled material 1 immediately after rolling. A rolling mill 2 has: work-rolls 10a, 10b; work-roll chocks 11a, 11b for supporting the work-rolls 10a, 10b; backup rolls 20a, 20b; backup roll chocks 21a, 21b for supporting the backup rolls 20a, 20b; and a roll cross mechanism for moving the work-roll chocks 11a, 11b and the backup roll chocks 21a, 21b in a horizontal plane. The roll cross mechanism has a position adjustment mechanism provided at the inlet side in a sheet passing direction of the rolling mill and a pressing mechanism provided at the outlet side in the sheet passing direction of the rolling mill. The work-rolls 10a, 10b are installed more on the inlet side in the sheet passing direction from the backup rolls 20a, 20b.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of performing flatness control and rolling a strip in a mill.SOLUTION: The mill includes a plurality of rolls controllable by actuators. The method includes the steps of: receiving flatness measurement data pertaining to a flatness of the strip (S1); determining a flatness error as a difference between a reference flatness of the strip and the flatness measurement data (S2); determining an adjusted flatness error based on the flatness error and weights for actuator position combinations which provide a flatness effect below a threshold value (S3); and utilizing the adjusted flatness error for control units to control the actuators to thereby control the flatness of the strip (S4). A computer program product and a control system for carrying out the above method are also presented herein.
