    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely form a knot of a cord by preventing a pinched cord end from easily falling off before the formation of the knot, in terms of an automatic tying machine which winds the cord around an article and performs binding by making the knot, particularly, a cutter base for the automatic tying machine, which assists the knot to be formed in the cord and cuts the cord.
    SOLUTION: The cutter base for the automatic tying machine is equipped with a pair of cord retainers 10 with the function of winding and pinching the cord, and a retainer base 11. The cutter base is also equipped with a cutter 14 which has the function of cutting one cord with a knife 15 after the formation of the knot and pulling out the other pinched cord by hooking it on a cutter groove 14a, and a cord hooking hook 5 for hooking the cord is annexed to a side surface, on the side where the cutter 14 is provided, of the retainer base 11.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate tying of a strap. SOLUTION: For a strap-gripping apparatus, in a coil-shape spring 2 having a larger diameter, a coil-shape spring 3 having a smaller diameter is passed, and a gripping fitting 1 is attached to the distal end of the spring 3. Then, by the coil-shape spring 2 having the larger diameter and the gripping fitting 1, the strap 4 can be pinched and gripped. Then, two pipe-shape guides 6 which can be disassembled are crossed and twisted in a manner to be wound further with each other, and one-side ends 9 of the guides 6 are made to face to the opposite directions from each other. The tips of respective strap-gripping apparatus are placed from the one-side ends 9 of the pipe-shape guides 6, and taken out from the ends of the guides 6 on the opposite sides. Then, respective spots of the strap 4 are gripped by respective strap-gripping apparatus, and the distal ends of the apparatus which grip respective spots of the strap 4 return along the guides 6. Thus, the strap 4 is pulled as well, and the strap 4 crosses in the same manner as the guides 6 and twisted in a manner to be wound with each other. When respective strap-gripping apparatus return, the strap 4 is pulled further.
