PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method of a metal wire facilitating connection work, and a light connecting device for a metal wire which is excellent in portability.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for connecting metal wires faced each other. The connecting device is provided with a pair of fixing sections for fixing the metal wires faced each other; and a rotary body having a notch suitably spaced between the pair of fixing sections. The metal wires faced each other are twisted by rotating the rotary body after both ends of a parallel section of the metal wire formed by preparing the opposite metal wires in parallel are fixed with the pair of sections and an approximately central part of the parallel section of the metal wire is arranged on the notch section of the rotary body. The pair of fixing sections includes the notch section and a pressurizing member, both ends of the parallel section of the metal wire faced each other are arranged on the notch section, and both ends are fixed by pressurizing both ends with the pressurizing member.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electric wire conductor made of a copper alloy, which is rarely disconnected and achieves small diameter. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electric wire conductor made of the copper alloy is characterized by a bonding treatment and a heat treatment of joints of the electric wire conductor and comprises steps of: manufacturing a drawing stock of the copper alloy made of desired components by a continuous casting apparatus such as SCR; subjecting the drawing stock to wire drawing (drawing treatment of a drawing stock) by cold working and subsequently to annealing; and carrying out wire drawing (first wire drawing treatment) and further wire drawing (second wire drawing treatment) so as to obtain an element wire for an automotive wire. When carrying out the first and second wire drawing treatments, ends of the electric wire conductor are subjected to a bonding treatment and a heat treatment. The bonding treatment may be carried out before or after the heat treatment. The bonding treatment is a treatment for bonding the end of an electric wire conductor to an end of another electric wire conductor. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method of a metal wire body capable of easily strongly connecting metal wire bodies at a lower cost, and also to provide a connection device used for the same. SOLUTION: The connection method is used for connecting the mutually facing metal wire bodies 1. A pair of second spur gears 41a, 41b where insertion holes and slits for holding the metal wire bodies 1 are arranged with an interval are disposed with the interval. The vicinities of the ends 1a of respective metal wire bodies 1 are held at the insertion holes and the slits of the second spur gears 41a, 41b, respectively, and the vicinities of the ends 1a of the respective metal wire bodies 1 are installed therebetween to be overlapped with each other in an axial direction. The second spur gears 41a, 41b are relatively rotated in opposite directions with a space between the insertion holes and the slits as the center of rotation, so that the metal wire bodies 1 are connected with each other by twisting them between the second spur gears 41a, 41b while regulating outward movement in a radial direction with a spacer 45. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new connecting technique where the edge part of a winding metal wire can be efficiently and easily wound and tensed to the middle suitable part of the metal wire to be connected. SOLUTION: Regarding the wrench 1 for metal wire winding, to an arrangement orthogonal to an operating rod part 21, a main stem 4 formed with a vertical through-hole 42 set so as to be a suitable shape and a gap 44 for fitting connected to the vertical through-hole 42 on the outer circumferential face over the whole length thereof is piercingly attached to the head part 22 of a wrench body 2 together with a ratchet mechanism 5. A fitting port 25 capable of communicating with the gap 44 for fitting is made open in the head part 22. A middle stem 6 formed with a vertical through-groove part 61 with a profile shape almost coincident with that of the vertical through-hole 42 for fitting reaching the vicinity of the center at the prescribed width in the outer circumferential face over the whole length thereof, and formed with a locking hook part 62 at the eccentric suitable part as the outer side than the vertical through-groove part 61 at one end exposed from the main stem 4 is cocentrically fitted into the vertical through-hole 42 for fitting in the main stem 4, and combination is performed in such a manner that a vertical through-groove closing fitting 71 is temporarily fixed by a slipping-off prevention part 8 for a middle stem.
