Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt one section member for cylindrical type or elliptically cylindrical type tank cars having many dimensions and specifications by integrally constructing a pedestal with bent members so as to be capable of being applicable to variations in the size of an outer plate of a tank main body and superposing a protective frame having therein a partition wall, which is integrally constructed with a section member made of aluminum, on the pedestal. SOLUTION: A pedestal 31 comprising right and left legs 26 and a support face 30 is integrally constructed with bent members, and a protection main body 33 having a partition wall 34 inside a cross-sectionally inverted V-shaped protective part 32 is integrally constructed with a section member made of aluminum. Inside faces of a lower part of the protection main body are superposed on an upper part of the pedestal 31, thereby forming a flow passage 36 for recovering vapor between the partition wall 34 and the support face 30 of the pedestal 31.

Abstract: A method for maintaining constant the composition of liquefied gas in a store (1) comprises extracting product in its gas phase from the store by means of a compressor (8) to raise its pressure. The gas is then cooled in a first heat exchanger (9) and then in a second heat exchanger (10), to a final temperature such that on expanding the gas into a tank (11) most of it is liquefied. The small amount of remaining gas is recycled to the compressor inlet after passing through the first heat exchange as its cooling fluid. The product is also extracted in its liquid phase (3) by a pump (19). The liquid is then passed through a battery of pumps (20) which raise it to a pressure high enough for a distribution network to be directly supplied therewith (after vaporization). A portion of the highly compressed liquid phase is used as the cooling fluid for the second heat exchanger (10).
