    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide novel method and device for granulating cysteamine hydrochloride, which reduces the generation of fine powder, which does not cause the blocking of the granules during storage and which can prevent the granules from being contaminated and colored with metals.     Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:A clathrate compound of a nucleus-substituted salicylic acid salt comprising the crystal structure of a polyvalent metal salt of a nucleus- substituted salicylic acid of the formula (R1 and R2 are tertiary butyl, tertiary amyl, tertiary octyl or alpha,alpha-dimethylenzyl) or a hydrate thereof as a host crystal and a 1-12C organic compound as guest crystal. EXAMPLE:A clathrate compound comprising 3,5-ditertiary butyl-6-methylsalicylic acid neutral zinc salt monohydrate as a host crystal and two molecules of isopropanol as guest molecules. USE:A germicide a stabilizer for polymers or a developing agent for recording materials. PREPARATION:For example, a clathrate compound comprising a nucleus- substituted salicylic acid polyvalent metal salt and releasable gest molecules such as water or methanol is mixed with and dissolved in desired guest molecules with heating and subsequently cooled to separate the crystal of the resultant clathrate compound.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To suppress harmful effects of impurities by treating liquid sulfur- solvent composition including catalyst by effective quantities of primary and secondary amines for a period effective for suppressing the harmful effects of the impurities in the compositions from before to after the addition of the catalyst thereto. CONSTITUTION: A liquid sulfur-solvent composition includes sulfide having a great rate of the formula, RSSaSR' (wherein, R and R' are each alkyl, aralkyl, alkoxyalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, phenyl or a 1-20C alkyl substitution phenyl; and (a) is 0 to 3). The mean number of the internal sulfur is expressed rather than the maximum number of the sulfur of either one type of the sulfide mixture, and the number of carbon atoms of the alkyl part is set to 1-24. This constitution can improve the economic effect by treating it at first by inexpensive amines for solving the harmful effects of the impurity and then by expensive catalyst.
