Abstract:
An organotellurium compound of the formula (1) is useful as a living radical polymerization initiator and makes possible precision control of molecular weights and molecular weight distributions under mild conditions wherein R is C1-C8 alkyl, R and R are each a hydrogen atom or C1-C8 alkyl, and R is aryl, substituted aryl, aromatic heterocyclic group, hydroxycarbonyl or cyano.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing various block polymers, armed polymers, or reactive-group-terminated living radical polymers by making possible the precise control of molecular weights and molecular weight distributions (polydispersity) (PD=Mw/Mn) even to the region reaching high molecular weights and to provide a living radical polymerization initiator for producing the above polymers. SOLUTION: A polyfunctional living radical polymerization initiator comprising a tellurium-containing compound having a specified structure is used. According to the present invention, it is possible to polymerize a vinyl monomer under mild conditions, to efficiently produce various block polymers, armed polymers, or reactive-group-terminated living radical polymers while making possible the precise control of molecular weights and molecular weight distributions (polydispersity) (PD=Mw/Mn) even to the region reaching high molecular weights. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific organic metallic compound suitable for use relating to a field of organic metallic compounds in general, more particularly in a vapor deposition process. SOLUTION: The organic metallic compound suitable for use as a vapor deposition precursor for a group IV metal-containing film is provided. A method of depositing the group IV metal-containing film using a certain organic metal precursor is also provided. The group IV metal-containing film is particularly useful in the manufacture of electronic devices. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject tellurium compound to afford new reagents for organic synthetic reactions and functional materials. SOLUTION: This new hypervalent tellurium compound of the general formula 1 (X is a halogen atom; R is an aryl or alkyl, being optionally substituted) is such as to have a hexavalent tellurium atom bearing one halogen atom and five aryl or alkyl groups as ligand; wherein the respective bonds between the tellurium atom and the halogen atom and between the tellurium atom and each of the carbon atoms are hypervalent bonds.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fluctuation in coloring rate observed by the uppermost element when a common test fluid is reacted with an element in a cartridge by containing an immobilized receptor or the like to a ligand by the constant concentration. SOLUTION: A dry analyzing element to analyze a ligand contains a band of an oxygen labeled ligand or an oxygen labeled receptor, a developing band, an immobilized receptor to a ligand and a labeling ligand by the constant concentration. In that case the receptor contains a support body to carry the receptor band bonded with covalent bond to polymer beads having a diameter of 0.1 to 5μm. This element contains a diaryl telluride compound, and plural hands may exist in the same layer, or may exist in separate layers. According to this element, a first slide bias (that is, coloring speed of the uppermost element in a cartridge is different from cloring rate of its other element in the same cartridge) can be reduced.
