PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment system and method for effectively using biomass resources, with which biomass resources are treated in stages, methane gas and hydrogen gas are efficiently formed/recovered without leaving a final residue, especially expensive pyroligneous acid and a hard carbonized product (carbonized material) having excellent gas adsorptivity is formed/recovered. SOLUTION: The treatment system 1 is equipped with a low-temperature carbonization apparatus 2 with which biomass resources comprising a plant, a livestock product, fish and shellfish or their wastes or sewage such as garbage or excreta of a livestock product, etc., are heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere at >320°C and ≤400°C to form pyroligneous acid, methane gas and a carbonized product-containing residue and pyroligneous acid and methane gas are fractionated and removed and a high-temperature carbonization apparatus 3 with which the carbonized product-containing residue formed by the low-temperature carbonization apparatus 2 is heated at >580°C and ≤1,000°C to generate a carbonized product and hydrogen gas and the carbonized product and the hydrogen gas are fractionated and recovered. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal-treating method for production of coke, capable of preventing concentration of tar content and coal powder in circulation gas of a quick heating process, lowering the acidic gas concentration impairing the quality of heated coal and carrying out a heat treatment in a reducing gas atmosphere and facility therefor. SOLUTION: Hot air generated in a hot air generating furnace 2 is blown into a drying classifier 1 to dry coal and the dried crude particles and fine powder are rapidly heated in stream heating towers 8-1 and 8-2 to pyrolyze the crude particles and fine powder and the resultant gas is separated by solid- gas separators 9-1 and 9-2 and the separated gas is circulated through a circulation line 10 into a stream heating tower to carry out a drying treatment of coal for production of coke. A fuel gas is blown from a fuel gas-blowing line 11 into a circulation gas of the circulation line 10 and a part thereof is circulated into the stream heating towers 8-1 and 8-2 and a part thereof is fed to a burner 13 for hot air-generating furnace 2 by a gas feed line 12.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy setting of the most suited operation condition for a new coke-producing process. SOLUTION: This coke-producing process includes a prior-treatment process in which a raw material carbon is dried, classified and heated by a fluidizing layer-heating means 11 in the foregoing part, and subsequently a quick heating treatment for modifying the raw material carbon is carried out by an air-stream heating means in the latter part, and is carried out by using a dry distillation furnace 13 constructed with a high heat-conductive silica brick, a raw material carbon-modifying chamber on which CDQ 16 is applied and the like. This coke-producing process is controlled as follows: a neutral network is constructed in advance by using input-output data of a physicochemical model in each production process of the coke-production processes; an operational condition system is constructed so that the constructed neutral network can be easily taken out from a heat/substance balancing calculation sheet prepared by a tablet calculation software; a specific operational condition under which the energy consumption in the whole process for producing cokes is the smallest, the difference between energy consumption and energy recovery is the largest, or the yield of one or plural kinds of products becomes a specific value is determined by the operational condition system; and then, the process for producing cokes is controlled so that the specific operational condition is satisfied.
