SOLUTION: The resin composition for the fog dissipation net is composed of a thermoplastic resin containing a far infrared radiating material of 2 to 15 mass%, and the fog dissipation net is made of the resin composition. In the resin composition for the fog dissipation net, the thermoplastic resin is a polyester resin, and the far infrared radiating material contains silica as a main ingredient.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defogging device and a defogging method in which the efficient defogging effect can be demonstrated under the realistic natural environment without excessive thermal energy supply by using relatively lightweight and compact appliances. SOLUTION: This defogging device 1 comprises a far infrared ray radiator 20 capable of irradiating the far infrared ray of the predetermined wavelength during the heating, far infrared ray reflecting means 30 and 50 for reflecting the far infrared ray of the radiator, and heating means 2 and 18 for heating the radiator to the far infrared ray radiation temperature. The radiator and the reflecting means are directed so as to radiate the far infrared ray to an area to be defogged. The defogging device is arranged along a freeway R, and irradiates the far infrared ray on the fog over lanes A and B when the radiator is heated. The far infrared ray has the wavelength characteristic that the maximum peak wavelength appears in the wavelength range of 6-15 μm.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To substitute the mist with the rising stream of the air dried with the condensing latent heat so that the mist is diss by parallel wiring a grounding electrode, charged particle driving line, and corona discharge line along a downward oriented slope continued to a road, producing charged particles through application of a high voltage, and thereby condensing the contained moisture. CONSTITUTION: A grounding electrode 2 is installed along a downward oriented slope S continued to a place X where the mist is to be driven away, and a corona discharge line 3 is parallel installed in a space over the electrode 2 with the aid of a stay 7 and insulator 8 and is connected with the negative terminal of a DC power supply device 5 which supplies over several tens of thousands in volt. A charged particle driving line 4 is wired between the electrode 2 and corona discharge line 3 and connected with the positive terminal of the power supply device 5. The device 5 is actuated so that moisture condensation with movement of charged particle is frequently generated between the corona discharge line 3 and charged particle driving line 4 so that the condensing latent heat is discharged. The moisture is decreased by condensation, and the air expanded with latent heat rises along the slope S in a mild rising stream and is substituted with the mist which is thus driven away.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve fog extinguishing effect using scattered water being as little as possible and to provide a fog extinguishing system which is simple in composition and inexpensive by installing water scattering nozzles having each fan-shaped water scattering range at fixed intervals on one side of a road, and scattering water in a fan-shape from the one side of the road toward its opposite side. CONSTITUTION: Water scattering nozzles 1 to uniformly scatter water in a fan-shape are severally attached to piping 2 spread on one side in a fixed section of a road 20 at fixed intervals through a vertical piping 3. The piping 2 communicates with a reservoir 4, and the water is supplied to each water scattering nozzle 1 under uniform pressure by a pump 5. A fan-shaped water scattering range 6 set up in an angle θis set up so as to somewhat intersect an adjacent water scattering range 6, and the scattered water is parabola-shapedly scattered so as to attain a roadside belt on an opposite side over the road 20. In addition, it is unnecessary to make a water discharging angle α larger than a required size, and the angle at which about semicylindrical water scattering can be carried out within a range necessary for the running of an automobile is sufficient. Thus a fog extinguishing system which can be shortened in a total spread length, and is simple in composition and inexpensive is provided.

The compressed air is spouted from a nozzle 10 to over the central part of the road so that an air curtain is generated, and the area over the road space Y is shielded from the external air. Thereby the road space is shielded with the air curtain and a wind panel 3, and thereby external air containing mist is precluded from intruding to the space.
