摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam pumped light source device in which vacuum tightness of a vacuum container is ensured because cracking does not take place when bonding the container body and the light transmission window material of the vacuum container even if they are composed of dissimilar materials having a difference in the linear thermal expansion coefficients.SOLUTION: The electron beam pumped light source device is provided with an electron beam source and a semiconductor light-emitting element in a vacuum container consisting of a container body having an aperture, and a light transmission window material which is bonded airtightly by a sealing part so as to close the aperture. The sealing part consists of a first glass layer in contact with the light transmission window material and a second glass layer in contact with the container body, both formed of glass frit of different type having an identical main component. Following relations are satisfied; α(A0)>α(B0), α(A0)>α(A), α(B0)>α(B), where α(A0), α(B0), α(A), and α(B) are the linear thermal expansion coefficients of the light transmission window material, the container body, the first glass layer and the second glass layer, respectively.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission device capable of saving power.
SOLUTION: The field emission device is provided with a pair of substrates 1A, 1B, a plurality of electron emission sources 2, an anode electrode, and a drive means 6. The plurality of the electron emission sources 2 include a first electron emission source group 2A, and a second electron emission source group 2B. A photoelectric conversion film is further formed on a part facing to the first electron emission source group 2A of the substrate 1B. The drive means 6 drives by switching between a standby mode for applying a voltage higher than a field emission voltage for emitting a field between the first electron emission source group 2A and the anode electrode, and applying a voltage lower than the field emission voltage between the second field emission source group 2B and the anode electrode, and a whole surface drive mode for applying a voltage higher than the field emission voltage between the plurality of the electron emission sources 2 and the anode electrode. When incidence of light on the photoelectric conversion film is detected, the standby mode is switched to the whole surface drive mode.

SOLUTION: The display device is provided, in a vacuum envelope, with: phosphor pixels; a BM film surrounding them; a phosphor screen having a metal thin film covering them; and an electron source for emitting electrons toward the phosphor screen. Gas discharge in the vacuum envelope is restrained by forming at least either of the phosphor pixels and a black matrix film into a structure containing boron.

SOLUTION: The anode plate comprises a base plate; an anode conduction layer arranged on the surface of the base plate; at least one gap type conduction wire having a plurality of gaps, arranged at the outside of the anode conduction layer, made to serve as an external wiring, connected mutually with the anode conduction layer, and a fluorescent layer arranged on the surface of the anode conduction layer, made to serve as a light emitting layer of the field emission display.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for color cathode-ray tube having the inner surface curvature structure capable of improving the structural strength of a shadow mask. SOLUTION: A panel 1 for color cathode-ray tube includes a practically flat outer surface and an inner surface having the predetermined curvature. In the case where Rx means the longitudinal curvature radius of the inner surface of the panel 1 and Ry means the minor axial curvature radius of the inner surface of the panel 1, curvature structure of the inner surface of the panel 1 is formed so that the longitudinal curvature radius Rx and the minor axial curvature radius Ry has a different curvature radius R from each other. Structural strength of a shadow mask is thereby improved, and lowering of color rendering property of image can be prevented.
