摘要: When rolling hot-rolled strips, different draughts per pass might occur during the rolling operation over the length of the roll gap, due to changes in the hardness of the rolling stock, to the roll gap itself or to the geometry of the incoming rolling stock. These different draughts per pass lead to lateral deviations and shifts of the rolling stock in the roll stand and to a lateral bending of the outgoing hot-rolled strip. In order to avoid these defects by intentionally influencing the geometry of the rough-rolled strip, it is proposed to interconnect in at least one roughing-down stand a dynamic positioning in the roughing-down stock (1) with fast and powerful lateral guides (8, 9) arranged before and after the roughing-down stand (1), by corresponding regulation operations, in such a way that a grainy or tapering bloom (4) is shaped into a straight and taper-free roughed-down strip (5) in one or more passes, in continuous or reciprocating operation.

The roll driving system comprises hydraulic cylinders disposed in parallel between a rolling mill housing and a roll housing for supporting a backup roll and a work roll; load position sensors for detecting load positions of the hydraulic cylinders; means for executing a backward kinematic algorithm which calculates target load positions of the hydraulic cylinders when a target position instruction signal for degrees of freedom of roll movement is inputted from an upper control system, position controllers for controlling positions of the hydraulic cylinders in response to the target load positions inputted from the backward kinematic algorithm executing means; and means for executing a forward kinematic algorithm which calculates positions for the degrees of freedom of roll movement, based on the load positions detected by the load position sensors, and outputs resultant position signals to the upper control system.

CONSTITUTION: The control method is characterized in that a business computer(21) provides workpiece information such as workpiece steel type, thickness and target elongation, a supervisory control computer(25) calculates roll force according to the workpiece information provided from the business computer(21) and entry side speed of skin pass mill inputted after being sensed and measured at pulse generator(22) attached to the entry side of skin pass mill, proper roll force values are calculated in realtime and inputted into roll force controller(27) to prevent center mark and prevent material defect of front and rear parts of the workpiece when the entry side speed of the skin pass mill measured by the supervisory control computer(25) is feedback inputted, and a hydraulic cylinder(28) for screw down is controlled by the roll force controller(27) according to the inputted proper roll force values so that the inputted proper roll force values are applied to lower back up rolls of the skin pass mill.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling ascending and descending of rolling rolls in rolling equipment for ironworks is characterized in that a linear scale(4) consisting of an MTS (magnetostriction) sensor(41) and a magnet(47) is inserted into a cylinder in rear of the cylinder(3), a guide housing(43) of the MTS sensor(41) is clamped on a retainer(46) fixed to the rear inner side of a cylinder main body(31) in the state that a packing(43a) is interposed between the guide housing(43) and the retainer(46) so that a guide tube(42) in which a conductor element where a coil is coiled on a magnetic core is installed is inserted into a tube hole(32a) in rear of a cylinder rod(32), a cutoff cover(48) made of a non-conductor material is integrally formed in front and rear of a ring shaped body into which the guide tube(42) is inserted so that the magnet(47) is integrally fixed to the cylinder rod(32) at the rear end of the tube hole(32a) of the cylinder rod(32), and a cable port(44) is installed in rear of the guide housing(43) of the MTS sensor(41) to connect a cable(45) connected to a controller through a cable hole(31b) of the cylinder main body(31) to the guide tube(42).
