A novel anthracene derivative, a light emitting element containing the derivative, an electronic device containing the derivative, and a light emitting device containing the derivative are provided to improve the luminous efficiency and lifetime of a light emitting element. An anthracene derivative is represented by the formula 1, wherein B1 and B2 are a halogen atom, a cyano group, an acryl group, a carboxyl group, an acyloxy group, an alkoxy group, a pyridyl group, a quinolyl group, an isoquinolyl group or an oxazolyl group, respectively; A is a group represented by -N(Ar11)-alpha-NAr12(Ar13) or a group represented by the formula 1b or 1c; Ar11 to Ar13 are a C6-C25 aryl group, respectively; alpha is a C6-C25 arylene group; Ar21 is a C6-C25 aryl group; R31 is H, a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C6-C25 aryl group; R32 is a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C6-C25 aryl group; Ar31 is a C6-C25 aryl group; beta is a C6-C25 arylene group; and R41 and R42 are H, a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C6-C25 aryl group, respectively.

The present invention relates to certain fused pyrazole derivatives of Formula (Ia), and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which exhibit useful pharmacological properties, for example, as agonists for the RUP25 receptor. Also provided by the present invention are pharmaceutical compositions containing compounds of the invention, and methods of using the compounds and compositions of the invention in the treatment of metabolic-related disorders, including dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, Syndrome-X and the like.
