    Abstract: 연속 주조기와 열간 압연기를 직결한 설비로 두께 80㎜이하의 슬래브를 압연함으로써 압연재의 온도 저하나 스케일의 발생을 억제하면서 저속 압연을 가능케하고, 실제 미니 핫을 실현할 수 있게 한다.
    연속 주조기(1)에서 주조된 두께 80㎜ 이하의 슬래브(2)를 승온 및 스케일 제거하고, 4H-트윈 밀인 조밀(7)로 판 두께 20 내지 60㎜로 조압연하여 또 승온 및 스케일 제거하고, 직결 500㎜이하의 소정 작업 롤을 구비하는 마무리 밀(19 내지 21)로 마무리 압연하고, 판 두께 1.6㎜ 내지 15㎜정도의 박판 또는 판 두께 3㎜ 내지 40㎜정도의 두꺼운 판으로 한다. 또, 마무리 밀(19 내지 21)출구측의 압연 속도는 350m/min 이하의 저속으로하여 생산 규모를 작게 할 수 있고, 설비 길이는 100m이하로 하여 설비량을 작게 할 수 있다.

    Abstract: By rolling a slab with a thickness of 80 mm or less in a plant including a continuous casting machine and a hot strip rolling mill directly combined with each other, low-speed rolling can be achieved while suppressing a drop of the strip temperature and the occurrence of scales. After a slab 2 cast by a continuous casting machine 1 and being 80 mm or less thick is heated and descaled, it is rough-rolled into a bar with a thickness of 20 to 60 mm by a roughing mill 7 constructed as a 4H-twin mill. After being heated and descaled again, the bar is finish-rolled by finishing mills 19 to 21, each of which employs small-diameter work rolls having a diameter not larger than 500 mm, into a thin plate with a thickness in the range of 1.6 mm to 15 mm or a thick plate with a thickness in the range of 3 mm to 40 mm. The rolling speed on the delivery side of the finishing mills 19 to 21 is set to be as low as 350 m/minute or less with a result of small production scale, and the plant length is set to be not longer than 100 m with a result of small plant space.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A roller, a rolling method and rolling equipments are provided to prevent the zigzag type of rolling material and the bending of plate, to make repair easy, and to promote rolling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The roller is formed by:installing two sets of roll groups of a four-stage roller to one housing(1); attaching plate guides(5, 5') controlling the gap with a working roll by moving up and down by a bolt(29) attached to an integrated metal chalk corresponding to the change of the diameter of the working roll and to make easy the guide of the plate between two roll groups; a tension gauge roller(6) placed in the center of the two roll groups; a load gauge(7) to make tension control easy by measuring tension in the center between the two roll groups with the tension gauge roller; a metal chalk for a roll for receiving rolling load and delivering the load to the housing(1) through a depression device(30) added to a reinforcement roll.
