    摘要: PURPOSE: A magnesia-phosphate based investment is provided to make it possible to produce a smooth and metal-colored cast by reducing burn-on sand reaction caused by surplus phosphorus at high temperature and to improve strength at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The magnesia-phosphate based investment for precision-casting cast metal comprises 9-13 parts by weight of magnesia, 5.5-8 parts by weight of ammonium phosphate, monobasic, 20-40 parts by weight of quartz sand, 1-5 parts by weight of alumina, 1-3 parts by weight of zirconia, and 0.02-0.05 parts by weight of nano-size alumina based on 100 parts by weight of refractory materials. Phosphate content is restricted to 8 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of refractory materials. Quartz sand is mixed in a certain ratio to reduce a watered ratio.

    摘要: PURPOSE: Provided is a gypsum-bonded investment for a dental metal restoration material or a metal casting, which has strength sufficient to resist the casting pressure and an expansion ratio sufficient to compensate the shrink of metal on casting. CONSTITUTION: The gypsum-bonded investment comprises an alpha type calcium sulfate hemihydrate as a binder and a refractory material, wherein the gypsum-bonded investment further comprises at least one material selected from melamine sulfonated formaldehyde condensate and bentonite. Particularly, the refractory material comprises quartz and cristobalite. Preferably, the gypsum-bonded investment comprises 20-30 wt% of alpha type calcium sulfate hemihydrate, 20-40 wt% of quartz, 40-60 wt% of cristobalite, 0.1-0.5 wt% of melamine sulfonated formaldehyde condensate and 0.1-1 wt% of the bentonite.
