    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are crosslinkable microparticles, which form a hydrophilic coating layer having excellent hydrophilicity, hydrophilicity maintenance after the adhesion of contaminants and adhesion on metallic surfaces such as aluminum or aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION: The crosslinkable microparticles are obtained by the copolymerization of monomer components comprising: (a) 30-95 wt% of a monomer represented by the following formula 1; (b) 5-60 wt% of a monomer having a polyoxyalkylene chain and polymerizable double bond; and (c) 0-50 wt% of other polymerizable monomers. In formula 1, R1 represents H or methyl group, and R2 represents CH2 or C2H4. Particularly, monomer (b) comprises 50 wt% or more of polyoxyalkylene chain and polymerizable monomers (c) include (meth)acrylic acid.
