摘要： The distance between the nozzle and the head of the rail is changed corresp. to the hardness in the extent 10mm from the surface of the rail head and the amount of C in the rail, and is cooled longer than (0.336T-150 sec.), where T is (deg.C) on the surface of the rail head before starting to cool it. Heat-treated rail which is very resistant to abrasion and scratching is made economically.
