PURPOSE: Transparent toner, a toner image using the same, an electrostatic latent image developer, a toner cartridge, a process cartridge, an image formation apparatus, and an image formation method are provided to produce the transparent toner for forming the image having excellent transparency in the environment in which the color temperature is greater than 5,000 K. CONSTITUTION: Transparent toner for electrostatic latent image development includes a toner particle containing a binding resin, and an external additive agent containing cerium oxide. The concentration of cerium for the toner is 0.05-0.20 mass%, and the concentration of neodymium is 0.001-0.015 mass%. An electrostatic latent image developer contains the transparent toner for electrostatic latent image development. A toner cartridge has a toner storage chamber, and contains the transparent toner for electrostatic latent image development. A process cartridge for an image formation apparatus uses a phase retainer and a developer for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the phase retainer.

A latent image forming unit forms an electrostatic latent image on a surface of the image retaining body charged with electricity. A developing unit develops the latent image by developer having toner to form a toner image on an image retaining body. A transfer unit(26) transfers the toner image on a recording medium to form an unfused transfer image. A fusing unit(28) fuses the unfused transfer image transferred on the recording medium. A cleaning unit(6Y, 6M, 6C, 6K) cleans a transfer residue toner on an image retaining body.
