    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling a braking system is provided to avoid lifting axle under controlling, thereby controlling the brake system of a car capable of being included as one part of a ABS system or/and ESP system. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a braking system is as follows. A rear wheel(3) determines whether at least one state which is lifted exists or not. If at least one state is determined to exist, it limits and reduces the brake added to a front wheel by car brake system. When reducing speed of a car exceeds a designated value, is determines the lifting state of rear wheel to be existed. The designated value about the reducing speed of a car belongs within a range of 7m~10.3m per second. If the positive accelerating speed of a rear wheel exceeds the designated value, the lifting state of rear wheel is determined as it exists.
