    Abstract: PURPOSE: Hot rolled coil cooling equipment is provided to precisely keep a delivery date of an article by remarkably reducing cooling time required for cooling a coil, which has been fabricated in a hot rolled coil manufacturing factory. CONSTITUTION: Hot rolled coil cooling equipment includes a base(21) having a coil skid(19) for resting a hot coil thereon. Cooling water is supplied into a cooling tank(100) in order to cool the hot coil rested on the coil skid(19). Internal links(102,104) are coupled to the base(21) and the cooling tank(100). An outer link(106) is connected to the internal links(102,104) and the cooling tank(100) in order to move up and down them by a tare of a balance weight(168). The balance weight(168) is coupled to the outer link(106) in such a manner that the balance weight(168) moves along a weight guide beam(161). A balance leverage(124) is connected to the balance weight(168). A pair of cylinders(130,148) are provided to vary a center of gravity of the balance leverage(124).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method is provided to control tensile strength of a steel plate by predicting effect of each adjusting value of a controller and by predicting tensile strength of the steel plate using the effect. CONSTITUTION: A looper stores a steel plate in the continuous process line of a cold rolled product. Tensile strength of the steel plate is adjusted by controlling adjusting values of each controller with the looper. The effect of each adjustment value to tensile strength is predicted by a process model such as a tensile strength generating model, the kinetics model of a moving roll, a tensile strength loss model and driver and measurer model. With the effect, the tensile strength of the steel plate is predicted and then the looper controls the tensile strength.
