    Abstract: 본발명은폴리올레핀(에틸렌단위는, 존재하는경우, 상기전체폴리올레핀의 50중량% 미만을구성한다)에가수분해성실란그룹을그래프팅하는방법에관한것이다. 상기폴리올레핀은, 상기폴리올레핀에자유라디칼부위를생성시키는수단의존재하에, Si에결합된하나이상의가수분해성그룹을갖는불포화실란또는이의가수분해물과반응한다. 상기불포화실란은화학식 R"-CH=CH-Z (I) 또는 R"-C=C-Z (II)를가지며, 여기서, Z는 -SiRR'그룹에의해치환된전자구인잔기이고, 여기서, R은가수분해성그룹이고, R'는탄소수 1 내지 6의하이드로카빌그룹이고, a는 1 내지 3 범위의값이고, R"는수소이거나, -CH=CH- 또는 -C≡C- 결합에대한전자구인효과또는임의의기타활성화효과를갖는그룹이다. 상기폴리올레핀상의그래프팅반응을수행하는데 있어서화학식 R"-CH=CH-Z (I) 또는 R"-C=C-Z (II)의불포화실란을사용하면, 전자구인잔기 Z를함유하지않는비닐트리메톡시실란과같은올레핀성불포화실란으로그래프팅된경우에비해증대된그래프팅수율을제공할수 있다. 본발명은쇄 절단에의한중합체분해를제한/방지하면서높은그래프팅효율을갖는실란-개질된폴리올레핀을제공한다. 상기실란-개질된폴리올레핀을극성표면, 충전제또는극성중합체와추가로반응시키거나자체적으로반응시킴으로써상기폴리올레핀을가교결합시켜이로부터제조된복합체의물리적특성을증대시킬수 있다.

    Abstract: A butyl adhesive comprising maleic anhydride optionally with nanoclay is provided to improve adhesion between rubber and the surface of a substrate, particularly in tire steel belts, window vibration damping materials, and sails of sailing boats. A butyl adhesive comprises maleic anhydride-grated butyl rubber produced by the method comprising the steps of: (a) providing a solution of brominated butyl rubber in a nonpolar hydrocarbon solvent; (b) adding at least 1 phr of maleic acid anhydride, antioxidant and a catalyst represented by the following formula 1 to the solution; and (c) carrying out a reaction in the solution at a temperature of 120 deg.C or lower under a pressure of at least 100 psi to form maleic anhydride-grafted butyl rubber. In formula 1, M is a divalent metal; R1 is a C2-C20 alkyl hydrocarbon; and R2 is a C2-C20 alkyl hydrocarbon.

    Abstract: Present invention is a resin composition obtained by reacting polyolefin (A) with a (co)polymer (B) prepared from a copolymerizable monomer mixture (C) comprising an alpha , beta -monoethylenically unsaturated monomer and other copolymerizable monomers in a weight ratio (A)/(B) = 1/9 - 9/1 under radical generation in an organic solvent, or by polymerizing a copolymerizable monomer mixture (C) comprising an alpha , beta -monoethylenically unsaturated monomer and other copolymerizable monomers in the presence of polyolefin (A) in a weight ratio (A)/(C) = 1/9 - 9/1 in an organic solvent and successively by reacting the obtained reaction mass under radical generation; and the resin composition has good solution stability, does not cause liquid phase separation or solid precipitation, can be used as intact, is excellent in sprayability at high concentration, and, specifically, has novel function and effect that adhesion to polyolefin molded articles is excellent; and the resin composition can be favorably used for coating and primer because a coated film obtained by using a curing agent capable of reacting with an active hydrogen atom and/or hydroxyl group of the resin composition has excellent weatherability.
