An operating method of a fuel transformation system(26) for preparing liquid fuel for a combustion device(18) includes a step of removing dissolved oxygen from liquid fuel by a deoxygenator(20) at a first temperature; a step of heating the liquid fuel to a second temperature higher than the first temperature so as to evaporate at least a part of the fuel; a step of mixing the evaporated fuel with an oxidizer; and a step of reforming the evaporated fuel oxidizer mixture in a catalytic reactor(24).

The present invention relates to an indirect heating type pyrolysis unit, which decompose waste (raw material) into gas, oi, and char etc. by heating indirectly under oxygen free atmosphere. The pyrolysis unit has vacuum keeping means for the normal pyrolysis by preventing destroy of vacuumed state due to high temperatures or temperature changes. A pyrolysis chamber, having a screw axis which has a screw wing inside of a heating chamber having heating means, is installed for the indirect heating type pyrolysis. A cooling-vacuum-keeping apparatus uses fluid for cooling and fluid for vacuuming between the screw axis and an operator to prevent destroy of the vacuumed state. An elastic vacuum keeping apparatus uses an elastic coupling for controlling the length of the screw axis depending on the temperature change. The vacuumed keeping means comprises one between the cooling-vacuum-keeping apparatus and the elastic vacuum keeping apparatus.

The present invention relates to a method for extracting lipids from microalgae using cationic polymers and a method for preparing biodiesel using the extracted lipids and, more specifically, to a method for extracting lipids from microalgae using polymers including positive charge groups and aliphatic chains in an end in order to destroy the cell wall of negatively charged microalgae without performing a drying process on the microalgae, and a method for preparing biodiesel using the extracted lipids. The method for extracting lipids from microalgae and the method for preparing biodiesel using the extracted lipids according to the present invention is able to reduce the energy of biodiesel and production costs since lipids is able to be extracted from microalgae without performing the drying process on the microalgae and is able to fulfill an environment-friendly biodiesel subprocess by interaction between the microalgae cell wall and polymeric coating without separate energy input and chemical substances consumed in a treatment process.

PURPOSE: A sludge carbonization system and a byproduct fuel extraction method using the same are provided to efficiently use energy for drying and carbonization of sludge by indirectly heating sludge by flowing heated air passed through a carbonization process to a first drying part. CONSTITUTION: A sludge carbonization system includes a input hopper(100), a first drying part(200), a second drying part(300), a carbonization part(400), a discharge hopper(500), and a heat supply part(600). A first drying part is connected to the input hopper by a first transfer pipe(110), receives sludge from the input hopper, and has a first transfer flow path(210) performing a first drying while transferring the sludge from one end to the other end. A second drying part is connected to the first drying part by a second transfer pipe(230), receives sludge from the first drying part, and has a second transfer flow path(310) performing a second drying while transferring the sludge from one end to the other end. A carbonization part includes a carbonization flow path(410) and a heating flow path(420). A carbonization flow path is connected to the second drying part by a third transfer pipe(330), receives sludge from the second drying part, and forms a sludge carbonization substance by carbonizing while transferring from one end to the other end. Heated air flows in a heating flow path installed in the outer circumference surface of the carbonization flow path in order to heat sludge in an anoxic condition. The invention comprises a multi-stage process and apparatus that converts various waste and low-value feedstocks (210), such as offal, animal manures, municipal sewage sludge, tires, and plastics, to produce useful materials, including gas, oil, specialty chemicals, and carbon solids, in reliable purities and compositions, at acceptable cost and with high energy efficiency, without producing malodorous emissions. The invention further provides for an apparatus (230) for converting an organic liquor (500) into a mixture of hydrocarbons and carbon solids, comprising: a heater for producing a mixture of liquid and vaporized oil from the organic liquor; a reactor (260) for converting the mixture into carbon solids (142) and a hydrocarbon/gas mixture; a first cooler for accepting the carbon solids; and a second cooler for accepting the hydrocarbon/gas mixture (270). The invention still further relates to a separator that separates out particulates of a dimension of about 1 micron, such as cellular debris from bacteria, from a surrounding fluid.
