    摘要: The invention relates to an exterior rearview mirror which comprises a mirror mounting bracket (1) mounted on the motor vehicle, on which bracket a mirror body is mounted. The mirror further comprises a surround light (3) mounted on the mirror mounting bracket (1) and comprising an illuminant (16), preferably an LED. The aim of the invention is to improve said exterior rearview mirror in that the heat produced by the illuminant (16) does not have a detrimental effect. To achieve this aim, the illuminant (16) is disposed on a heat-conducting support (17) that is connected to the mirror mounting bracket (1) in a heat-conducting manner. The heat produced by the illuminant (16) is transferred from the support (17) to the mirror mounting bracket (1), thereby avoiding in a simple manner an excess heating of the surround light (3) and the mirror mounting bracket (1). The inventive exterior rearview mirror is particularly suitable for motor vehicles.
