摘要： The invention includes a composite material for use in the construction of orthopedic devices and methods for using these composites. The composite material is comprised of at least one filament or cord that can be non-biodegradable and a biodegradable matrix. In other forms the composite material contains at least two components formed of a biodegradable material, which components can be a matrix or a filament or a combination of matrices and filaments. The degradation rate of the two components need not be the same. The ballistic resistance panels(40) includes a felt(50) having a thread ply, in which a plurality of polyamide based woven raw materials and an aromatic polyamide based fiber or a high density polyethylene film are woven in a mesh net shape, and a shock absorbing member forcibly inserted into the mesh. The ballistic resistance panels(40) also includes a front plate(45) having a plurality of aromatic polyamide woven raw materials(43), a plurality of high density polyethylene films(44) for distributing the shock, and a rear plate(46) for reducing the deformation and the frictional heat.
