Abstract: Disclosed are a novel fluoroadamantane derivative, a novel polymerizable fluoroadamantane derivative, a novel fluorine-containing polymer and a production method. Specifically disclosed are a compound (3) shown below, a compound (4) shown below, a polymer obtained by polymerizing the compound (4), and a method for producing the same. In this connection, Qs respectively represent-CHF-or-CF2-(six Qs may be the same as or different from one another); Zs respectively represent-H,-F, or-CH2OH (three Zs may be the same as or different from one another); W represents-H or a hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms; R represents-H,-F,-CH3 or-CF3; and Js respectively represent-H,-F,-CHWOH or-CHWOCOCR=CH2 (three Js may be the same as or different from one another).
