A presser bar has a slot in the lower end of the bar which extends generally parallel to the pin. The pin is detachably engageable in the slot to detachably secure the device to the bar.

Provided at the first working table is a detector for identifying a thickness of a plain fabric portion from that of a pile fabric portion of a towel cloth. Provided also at the first working table this is a cutting unit spaced from the detector in a predetermined interval for cutting the towel cloth. Provided at the second working table is a base plate on which a clamping unit is mounted for clamping and drawing the towel cloth. Over the space between the first and the second working tables there is provided a towel cloth drawing unit across the towel cloth and movable vertically for drawing the towel cloth from a towel material.

摘要： An emergency battery monitor is adapted for use with at least one storage battery. The battery has first and second output terminals across which an output voltage is produced, the battery, when in normal operation, exhibiting an output voltage falling within a nominal value range having predetermined maximum and minimum values. The battery has at least one cell which contains a liquid electrolyte. The electrolyte, when the battery is in normal operation, has a predetermined minimum level in the cell. The monitor includes a member associated with the cell, which is electrically conductive when the level of the electrolyte is at least equal to the minimum level and is electrically non-conductive when the level of the electrolyte falls below the minimum level. Integrated circuits coupled to the output terminals and the member produce a first signal designating normal battery operation when the member is conductive and the value of the output voltage falls within the nominal value range. The circuits produce a second signal designating abnormal battery operation when the value of the output signal falls below the minimum value, and/or the member is non-conductive, and produces a third signal designating abnormal battery operation when the value of the output signal exceeds the maximum value.

摘要： A steam iron press employs first and second members and a lever mechanism connected to the second member and when manually actuated by an operator causing the second member to be moved to any position between a position of maximum separation and a position of engagement with respect to the first member. The second member receives water and converts the water into steam which is expelled through openings therein. A pump connected between the second member and a water reservoir feeds water to the second member. A cam mechanism is connected between the lever mechanism and the pump to only actuate the pump during a predetermined interval t between the instant of time T1 at which the lever mechanism has initiated movement of the second member toward the first member and the instant of time T2 at which an article to be pressed is squeezed between the two surfaces.

摘要： Apparatus for measuring the total internal resistance of a multicell battery having positive and negative terminals employs a first transistor device having an input and an output and having mutually exclusive conductive and non-conductive electric states. An arrangement of resistances is connected in series with the device to form a network. The network is connected between the positive and negative terminals. An operational amplifier has an output connected to the input of the device and first and second inputs. The first input is connected to the network at a point connected to both of the device and the arrangement. A square wave signal alternating between a positive voltage and ground on alternate half cycles is applied to the second input. The device is in the conductive state when the alternating voltage is positive and is in the non-conductive state when the alternating voltage is at ground. The network conducts no current when the device is in the non-conductive state and conducts a current of constant value when the device is in the conductive state. The voltage appearing between the terminals as a result of the current in the network is monotonically related to the internal resistance of the battery.

摘要： A needle thread drawing device utilizes a thread end holding device rotatably mounted on an arm of a sewing machine. A needle thread gripping puller which can be disposed to be at a thread catch position or a return position has a hook portion at a tip end thereof for catching a needle thread extended downward from a needle hole of a needle. A needle thread drawing member is mounted swingably on the side of the arm and has a hook portion at a tip end thereof. A cam member is positioned at the side of the thread end holding device and is rotatable in synchronism with the puller for rotatably swinging the needle thread drawing member so that the hook portion can hold the needle thread when the needle thread holding portion is positioned over the needle hole of the needle and can draw a thread end of the needle thread when the hook portion of the puller is positioned under the needle hole of the needle when the puller is disposed in the thread catch position.
