摘要： Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to preparing models of three-dimensional structures. In particular, a model of a three-dimensional structure constructed of porous geometries is prepared. A component file including a porous CAD volume having a predefined portion of a boundary. A space including the porous CAD volume is populated with unit cells overlapping the predefined portion of the boundary. The unit cells are populated with porous geometries having a plurality of struts having nodes on each end. At least a first strut overlaps the predefined portion of the boundary and has a length, a first node outside the porous CAD volume, and a second node inside the porous CAD volume. All struts entirely outside the porous CAD volume are removed. After removal of the struts entirely outside the porous CAD volume, each of the remaining struts is connected to a node at each end thereof.

摘要： A wear assembly for protecting a structure, such as an excavating bucket, from wear includes a lock for securing the wear member in place. The lock includes a take-up element for tightening the fit of the wear member, a latch to retain the lock in the assembly during use, and an arrangement for resisting loosening of the lock. With the assembly, the lock is able to effectively tighten the fit of the wear member on the lip, resist loosening of the fit, and facilitate easy removal of the lock without a concomitant increased risk of lock ejection.

The actuating device has a centrally aligned input component, that transversely receives an output component through a central aperture, and is engaged with a driving mechanism. Torque is increased about the central output component as a series of axially aligned, but centrally offset, lobes push a corresponding driver disc around the central output at reduced velocity and increased torque. Each driver disc moves in eccentric fashion, yet remains engaged with a corresponding, centrally aligned take off member, each of which is further in combination with the central output component.

摘要： An improved armored plating system having a series of elongate tubes arranged in parallel fashion to form a protective array. Each tube has a rectilinear cross section with slanted sidewalls so that each tube partially overlaps the following tube and is partially overlapped by the previous tube. As such, the protective array may be placed on a curved surface while having no gaps in protection. The protective array is formed as alternating tubes slide past one another from opposing directions. A series of laminated members and an embossed member are slideably inserted into each tube and layered upon one another.
