    摘要: The invention relates to a method for the material-removing processing of an adjustable camshaft which has a shaft body, wherein at least a first component of the camshaft can move axially and/or in the circumferential direction with respect to the shaft body, wherein a gap which permits the movement is provided between the shaft body and the first component, and wherein in order to protect the first moveable component during the material-removing processing a protection apparatus which has at least one fluid duct is placed on the shaft body and fluid is applied to it. According to the invention, the protection apparatus is arranged laterally with respect to the first moveable component in such a way that at least some of the fluid is directed laterally onto the first component and into an intermediate space between the protection apparatus and the first component, and wherein the first component is exposed in the radial direction. The subject-matter of the invention is also an arrangement for carrying out the method.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a tubular structural part by means of hydroforming. An assigned end of a supporting tube (1) is inserted into an opening in an end piece (2) and then widened by a pressurized fluid being applied to it and is connected to the end piece (2) with a press fit. The opening (9) has a first portion (10a) with a first inner cross section, which is greater than the outer cross section of the assigned end of the supporting tube (1). According to the invention, the first portion (10a) is adjoined by a second portion (10b), in a step-shaped manner so as to form an edge (11). The inner cross section of the second portion (10b) is smaller than the outer cross section of the assigned end of the supporting tube (1). In the method according to the invention, the supporting tube (1) is first inserted with its corresponding end into the first portion (10a), before the edge (11) cuts into the material of the supporting tube (1) in a further pushing-in movement.

    摘要: A variable valve actuation system in one form includes a rocker coupled with a valve stem at one end and a cam follower at the other end. The rocker is operable to rotate about a fixed axis and the cam follower includes a set of lower rollers operable to follow one cam lobe and an upper roller operable to follow another cam lobe. A leaf spring can be used to couple the cam follower with the rocker. A cam shaft can have a nested configuration that includes an inner shaft, an intermediate tube, and an outer tube. Cam lobes can be fastened to the cam shaft by fastening through each of the inner shaft, intermediate tube, and outer tube. The cam lobes can be attached by at least two devices inserted from either side of the cam shaft and that are not inserted at least through the inner shaft.

    摘要: An inner hole to which a driving shaft is inserted is formed in a cam piece of a camshaft, and a plurality of grooves extending in the insertion direction of the driving shaft are formed in the inner hole. The driving shaft is inserted into the inner hole with the cam piece heated to expand the diameter of the inner hole. By reducing again the diameter of the inner hole by cooling it in this state, an outer circumferential surface of the driving shaft is pressed and raised by the inner hole and enters the groove, by which the cam piece is firmly fixed onto the driving shaft.
