Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a system and method for the synchronization of variable-length messages being transmitted between stations of a local area contention network where the messages are made up of a variable number of fixed-length packets. This system is adapted for automatic address assignment of different stations of the network so that the network may be expanded or contracted by adding stations and removing stations respectively. In this manner, a very reliable network is provided in that the failure of any particular station does not interfere with the functioning of the other stations in the network or the network itself. In addition, the system includes provision for associating various server stations with a given procedure so that a client station may broadcast a request for a procedure and corresponding server stations will send the response to the client station containing the network identification of the server station. If two or more stations contain the particular procedure called for, the first one to respond to the client station is selected.
Abstract:
A method of making an air spring comprising spreading a fabric around a core having the shape of said air spring, anchoring edges of said fabric in overlap area to the core to form a reinforcing member thereon, placing the core having the reinforcing member thereon in a mold, closing said mold, injecting an elastomeric precursor into the mold and curing to form said air spring.
Abstract:
A mold comprising an elongated hollow cylinder having at least two parts that can be locked to form said cylinder, a core having an inflatable cover, said inflatable cover having means to fix the cover on said core, an upper and lower seal for said core capable of forming a tight seal with the core when the cover is inflated on the parts of the cylinder.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to compositions and methods of preventing or reducing the risk or incidence of skeletal injuries in horses. The present invention further relates to compositions and methods for alleviating pain associated with skeletal injuries in horses and to treating skeletal injuries in horses.

Abstract:
A gas panel can provide optical data readout in an essentially serial manner for copying, communication, interaction and indication. This is accomplished by using substitute sustain cycles for reading particular addresses. A complement sustain signal obtained through the address selection circuitry is superimposed on a partial sustain signal to produce the substitute sustain signal. This provides a complete sustain cycle for the selected address(es) only. Flashes of light at the addressed positions indicate storage of logical "1s" at such addresses.
Abstract:
A novel integration of practice management and photo management systems that also integrates patients' electronic medical records to provide a complete software solution for a medical practice. The present invention includes a method of patient image management comprising importing an image having an assigned date, filtering a patient list by appointments that occur on the assigned date, associating the image with a patient from the patient list, retrieving procedure information associated with the patient's appointment, and tagging the image with the procedure information. A corresponding computer system adapted to manage patient images is also provided.
Abstract:
A runtime execution environment may implement code access security by annotating a delegate to a publisher with a list of potential callers to the publisher. If a permission verification process for at least the listed potential callers results in even one indication of no trust, an exception may be thrown.
