摘要: A universal joint including an intermediate joint member having a spherical portion as assembled and four ridges formed on the outer surface of the spherical portion and defining four guide furrows therebetween, and two shaft each having one end bifurcating into two arms. The two arms of one of the shafts are fitted in two of the guide furrows positioned symmetrically, and the two arms of the other shaft are fitted in the other two guide furrows positioned symmetrically. The entire joint member comprises two divided half segments arranged in combination axially of the member. Alternatively, the spherical portion comprises two divided half segments arranged in combination axially thereof, one of the spherical half segments being integrally formed with two of the ridges positioned symmetrically and extending to over the outer surface of the other spherical half segment, the other spherical half segment being integrally formed with the other two ridges positioned symmetrically and extending to over the outer surface of said one spherical half segment. In either of these arrangements, an elastic member is provided at the combined portion of the two segments inside the contour of the combined portion for biasing the segments at least circumferentially thereof out of register with each other.

摘要: A water-in-oil emulsion explosive, comprising aqueous inorganic oxidizer solution, oil, emulsifier and hollow microspheres, and having high low-temperature detonability and storage stability can be produced without causing breakage of the hollow microspheres through a specifically limited kneading method, wherein agitating blades fitted to an agitating shaft in a kneader are subjected to up and down movements in the axial directions of the agitating shaft and concurrently to a rotary motion to knead homogeneously a water-in-oil emulsion formed of the aqueous solution of inorganic oxidizer, oil and emulsifier, together with the hollow microspheres.

摘要: A method of producing water-in-oil emulsion explosive by carrying out emulsification and kneading of a raw material mixture in one step is disclosed. In the method, hollow microspheres and a mixture of an aqueous solution of inorganic oxidizer, an oil and an emulsifier are separately supplied into a common passage of an emulsifying and kneading machine; the hollow microspheres and the mixture are emulsified and kneaded on the surface of a disc arranged on the downstream side of the disc, while rotating the disc; the emulsified and kneaded mixture is flowed down from the outer peripheral portion of the disc into a kneading room formed under the disc, while continuing the emulsification and kneading; the emulsified and kneaded mixture is fully emulsified and kneaded in the kneading room; and then the resulting water-in-oil emulsion explosive is taken out from the kneading room. The method is shorter and simpler in the production step, is more effective for energy saving, is higher in the safeness in the process control and is more practicable than conventional methods.
