摘要： In the process of bisphenol-A systhesis a method for controlling the water content of the resultant cation-exchanger bed wherein an acid ion-exchanger resin in the form of a sulphonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer is washed with phenol and the resulted washing is contacted with a basic ion-exchanger resin. Water is removed from the washing by distillation, and the dewatered phenol is recycled to wash the cation-exchanger bed. The catalyst bed is then washed with a mixture of phenol acetone and water, and this washing is contacted with the basic ion-exchange resin and recycled to wash the cation exchanger bed so as to obtain the desired moisture content.
