摘要： A lifting device, particularly for a dentist chair incorporating support arms arranged in a scissor form between a base portion and a seat support portion which is height adjustable relative thereto. The scissor action support mechanism comprises two support arms arranged in a single scissor's pair to realize an extremely compact yet rugged design. Each support arm includes two arm parts - a shorter arm and a longer arm - which are joined at one of their ends by a lateral stiffening section. The two support arms are arranged to face each other and are joined by an axle bearing which ties the two shorter arm parts to each other thus creating the scissor lifting structure. The free ends of the longer arms are mounted on lower and upper horizontal guides. A spindle driver applying forces at or near the axle bearing is used for lowering or raising the seat. The scissor arms are fully collapsible and because of the double arm construction a rugged, tension-stiff assembly results.

摘要： A dental chair having a support frame, a seat with a seat frame, a back rest pivotally connected to the seat and a displacement device for moving the seat frame on the support frame with tilting of the seat and an arrangement for controlling the inclination of the back rest, characterized by the pivotal connection between the seat comprising a separate pivoting bearing on each side having a pivot axis approximately in the area of the hip joint of a person sitting in the chair and the arrangement for controlling the inclination of the back rest comprising a one-piece member having two lever arms being pivotally connected on the side of the seat frame with one of the lever arms having a roller riding on the track on the support frame and the other lever arm being connected to a projection of a part of the pivoting bearing which is attached to the seat rest so that as the seat frame is moved between positions, the roller moving on the track enables the back to change its degree of inclination to the seat. The chair also includes an arrangement for tilting the seat which includes at least one pair of guide members which are inclined to each other by approximately 160.degree. and are mounted in the seat frame, which guide members receive sleeves that are pivotally connected to the support frame.

摘要： The invention is directed to an adjustable head support for a dental treatment chair, which is a reclining chair with an adjustable head rest or support. In order to better match the kinematics of the adjustable head support to a natural tilting motion of a patient's head, it is proposed that a quadrilateral linkage pivotally connects an upper region of the back rest to the head rest and the connection of the linkage to the head rest is shifted as the head rest tilts to cause a point on the head rest to move in an arc having a center roughly in the cervical vertebra joint of the patient lying in the chair.

摘要： The invention relates to a dentist chair with a chair top carrying at least a chair seat. A chair bottom contains a height-adjusting system for the chair top, and at least one apparatus adaptable at the chair bottom which requires various supplies, such as air, water, electric current, which by means of supply lines are brought into the apparatus through the chair bottom from a connection box at the floor. For hookup of the apparatus the chair bottom contains a hookup portion which contains coupling means both for mechanical coupling and for coupling of the various other supply lines. The apparatus is connectible to the supply lines through a counter-piece which matches the hookup portion of the chair bottom and which, for mechanical coupling of the apparatus contains counter-coupling means which can be brought into engagement with the coupling means and which then establishes the proper required connection.
