摘要: An apparatus that supports a user in a variety of positions to comfortably perform tasks, such as applying one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a headrest for therapeutic environments which is able to adapt and conform to the individual anatomic shape of a patient's head to provide firm support in a desired position for the duration of a therapy session, and which is able to maintain that shape to provide consistent positioning of a patient's head across multiple sessions. The headrest comprises an adjustable support element coupled to a headrest shell, with a headrest cushion being affixed to the shell that can conform to the shape of the patient's head and neck. The cushion is either a vacuum cushion or formed of a memory material, such that the deformation caused by supporting the patient can be reproduced if necessary.

摘要: A system includes a dilation catheter and a guide member. The dilation catheter includes a proximal end, a distal end, a dilator, a navigation sensor, and a force sensor. The dilator is positioned proximal to the distal end and is configured to transition between a non-dilated configuration and a dilated configuration. The navigation sensor is positioned distal to the dilator and is configured to cooperate with a guidance system and thereby provide signals indicating a position of the dilation catheter in three-dimensional space. The force sensor is positioned distal to the dilator and is configured to provide signals indicating a force encountered by the force sensor. The dilation catheter is configured to slide relative to the guide member. A distal portion of the guide member is sized and configured to fit in a nasal cavity of a patient.

摘要: A medical chair with height adjustable armrest comprises a lifting mechanism, a base coupled to a bottom side of the lifting mechanism, a sitting part coupled to an upper side of the lifting mechanism, and a backrest part coupled rotatably to the upper side of the lifting mechanism. An armrest comprises an armrest stop with the armrest rotatably coupled to the backrest part adjustable to an upper position and a bottom position, where, in the bottom position, the armrest stop bears on the first stop coupled to the backrest part, and in the upper position, the armrest stop does not bear on the first stop. A latch system movably attached to the backrest part comprises a latch with back surface and a second stop where the latch system is adjustable into a first position of the latch mechanism and into a second position of the latch system where in the first position of the latch system, the latch is located between the first stop and the armrest stop and in the second position of the latch system, the latch is not located between the first stop and the armrest stop, and where an upper position of the armrest is a position where the armrest stop bears on the second stop or any other position where the armrest is higher than in case when the armrest stop bears on the second stop.

摘要: An armrest assembly is disclosed herein. The armrest assembly includes a main body with a proximal adjustment assembly disposed at a first end and a distal adjustment assembly disposed at a second end. The proximal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of the main body about a first axis. The distal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of an arm pad about a second axis as well as a third axis. To prevent damage, a breakaway assembly is provided by the distal adjustment assembly to unlock the arm pad from a raised position and lower it into a lower position in the event a weight applied to the arm pad is beyond a particular weight threshold.
