The circuit can be attached to, mounted next to, or integrated with the sheet of metal. In some examples, a layer of dielectric material adheres to the sheet of metal, and circuit elements adhere to the layer of dielectric material. Such circuit elements may comprise electrical traces, light emitting diodes, and/or a light emitting diode driver. The sheet of metal can provide a substrate for the circuit or a support for a freestanding circuit board that may be rigid or flexible.

A flange extends from at least one side of the lens. The adhesive layer fixes the lens in an optical alignment over the corresponding LED. The adhesive layer includes at least one of a non-permeable layer with an adhesive material on the top and bottom surfaces, a gas-permeable layer with an adhesive material on the top and bottom surfaces, a deposited material, and an over mold material. An alignment tool including one or more optical recesses and one or more alignment features is used in the assembly of at least one of an optical assembly and a light module that includes the optical assembly. The alignment tool facilitates precise alignment of the lenses over the LEDs.

摘要： A diaphragm assembly for movement in response to a pressure increase exerted thereon comprised of a resilient flexible diaphragm having a first surface with a predetermined profile when said diaphragm is in a neutral, unflexed condition, the diaphragm having an opening formed therethrough.A rigid pressure plate is adapted to be positioned against the diaphragm. The plate has a contoured surface for mating engagement with the first surface of the diaphragm. The contoured surface has a recessed sealing surface dimensioned to form an open space between the plate and the diaphragm when the diaphragm is in the neutral, unflexed condition, and to enable the diaphragm to flex into sealing engagement therewith when sufficient pressure is exerted on said diaphragm. A first vent passage communicates the opening in diaphragm with the open space, and a second vent passage communicates the open space with the edge of the pressure plate.

摘要： A luminaire can comprise a lightguide, a substrate to which an array of light emitting diodes is mounted, and a cover that extends over the substrate. A light-receiving edge of the lightguide can be positioned adjacent the array of light emitting diodes so that emitted light couples into the lightguide via that edge. The lightguide can guide the coupled light from the light-receiving edge to an opposing, light-emitting edge that emits the coupled light to provide illumination. The cover can comprise an aperture through which the lightguide extends, so that the cover may enclose the light-receiving edge while the light emitting edge may protrude through the aperture.
