In a particular embodiment, a sensor apparatus includes a one-piece thermal isolated fitting (TIF) tube that includes a cylindrical shaped body portion and a flange at one end of the TIF tube. In this example embodiment, the flange has a top surface that is facing away from the cylindrical shaped body portion and an underside surface that is facing towards the cylindrical shaped body portion.

摘要: A temperature-controlled device for switching off a heating device at a limit temperature has a thermo-mechanical temperature sensor device, a switch-off device, and manual reactivation means. The switch-off device has switching means which are activated by a trigger for switching off the heating device. The manual reactivation means have a movable handle and transmission means for transmitting a force of an operator for reactivating the switching means after switching off the heating device by the trigger. The transmission means have a click spring which at the beginning is in a basic position and, when an operating force acting on said click spring exceeds a certain limit force, clicks to a deflected position. Said click spring in the basic position enables reactivating or re-switching on, respectively, of the switching means. Said click spring in the deflected position releases so much movement path on the transmission means for the switching means that said switching means by the temperature sensor device and by the switch-off device above the limit temperature are activatable and switchable by the trigger.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for a two lead electronic switch adapted to replace a mechanical switch. In one embodiment, a device is provided that includes a sensor and an electronic circuit having a voltage limiting circuit. The electronic circuit is configured to deactivate/activate the voltage limiting circuit to operate the electronic circuit in a first/second state in response to determining that an output of the sensor is less/more than a threshold voltage. The circuit includes first and second terminals configured to receive a switch voltage used to provide power for the device. The device sets the switch voltage to a first voltage level operative to power the electronic circuit and the sensor while the electronic circuit is operating in the first state and to a second voltage level operative to power the electronic circuit and the sensor while the electronic circuit is operating in the second state.

摘要: A residential and commercial hot water and steam boiler safety system and device that includes at least one hollow pipe, with one plugged or sealed end and a fitting on the other end for connecting the pipe in a substantially vertical mounting position, and at least one two float switch disposed in the pipe and electrically connected in series with a limit switch in the boiler, where the pipe is adopted for the flow and accumulation of water, so that float switch activates as the pipe fills with water and shuts off the boiler by turning off the gas valve, promoting safer boiler and steam boiler operation. Additional float switches positioned above or below in the hollow pipe may provide additional functions, such as a warning light and sound to the owner, or a notification via a telephone or cell phone system or through the home network or Wi-Fi system.

摘要: A tactile switch on a mobile electronic device having a housing is provided. The tactile switch is comprised of a pressure sensitive interface on an exterior portion of the housing, a switch mechanism, and at least one pathway coupled to the pressure sensitive interface and extending from the pressure sensitive interface to the switch mechanism. The switch mechanism is at a remote location from the pressure sensitive interface. The pathway is formed in an interior portion of the housing. The tactile switch further includes a viscous fluid substantially filling the pathway. The tactile switch is configured such that when pressure is applied to the pressure sensitive interface, the viscous fluid exerts pressure on the switch mechanism, causing the switch to make an electrical contact.

The detector comprises a housing comprising an access tube configured to receive a medium and a bellows fixed to the housing comprising a cavity and a first contact surface. The detector also comprises an adjustment screw positioned within the cavity of the bellows, coupled to the housing via an insulation member, and comprising a second contact surface. The detector is further configured to detect a change in pressure of the medium based on whether the first contact surface and the first contact surface are in electrical communication.

Aligned magnetically within the host material is an ensemble of particles each comprising a ferromagnetic material, each particle having greater electrical conductivity than the host material. The ensemble of particles is configured to form at least one complete conduction path from the first terminal to the second terminal.
