摘要： This invention relates to novel methods and compositions for attracting and controlling the Douglas-fir tussock moth (DFTM). More specifically, this invention pertains to the use of novel pheromone combinations and methods to attract and control DFTM which is a major defoliator of Douglas-fir and other true firs. A composition for manipulating the behaviour of Douglas-fir tussock moths comprising: (a) Z6-heneicosen-11-one (Z6); and (b) one or more compounds from the group consisting of: (Z)6,(E)8-heneicosadien-11-one; (Z)6, (E) 9-heneicosadien-11-one; and (Z)6,(Z)9-heneicosadien-11-one.
