摘要： A card edge connector includes an elongated housing, the housing extends along a longwise direction thereof and has a pair of opposed side walls, a central slot between the side walls, and a tower portion disposed at one end thereof. A plurality of contacts are retained in the housing. An ejector mechanism is rotatable retained in the housing and has a body portion, a flexible arm divided from the body portion and a locking protrusion located on the flexible arm. The lock protrusion is adapted to resist the tower portion during the ejector mechanism rotates with respect to the housing.

The ejector (3) includes a main portion (30), an ejecting portion (35) extending from a first end of the main portion and along the longitudinal direction, a locking portion (31) extending from a second end of the main portion opposite to the first end and along the longitudinal direction, and a lever portion (32) extending from the second end and along the thickness direction.

摘要： A card edge connector (100) includes an elongate insulative housing (1), a number of contacts (2) and an ejector (3) retained on the insulative housing (1). The insulative housing (1) defines a pair of opposed side walls (11) and a central slot (12) between the side walls (11). The side wall (11) has a fitting section (13) at one end thereof. The fitting section (13) defines a cavity (131) extending therethrough along a width direction, and a slit (134) spaced apart from the cavity (131) along a length direction. The ejector (3) has a base (31) retained on the fitting section (13) and a spring tab (32) sandwiched between the insulative housing (1) and the base (31). The spring tab (32) defines two ends one of which being retained in the slit (134) and another abutting against an inner side of the base (31).

The spacer (3) has a set of first protrusions (31) and forms a plurality of first grooves (32) located between each two adjacent first protrusions. The first protrusions each has a second groove (33) formed thereon. The spacer defines a set of second protrusions (34) and forms a plurality of third grooves (35) located between each two adjacent second protrusions (34). 摘要： A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer retained to the housing. The housing has a pair of side walls, a central slot between the side walls and a fitting section upwardly extending at one end thereof. The fitting section defines a first U-shaped cavity downwardly extending from a top end thereof and a mounting slot upwardly extending from a lower end thereof and located at outside of the first cavity. The first cavity communicates with the central slot along a length direction of the housing to receive the electronic card. The retainer is retained in the mounting slot and has a locking projection protruding into the first cavity to lock with the electronic card. The mounting slot does not extend through the fitting section to make the retainer hidden in the fitting section.
