摘要： A card edge connector (100) includes an elongated insulative housing (1), a plurality of contacts (2) and an ejector (3) assembled in the insulative housing (1). The ejector (3) has a base (31) and two gripping portions (34) extending upwardly from the base (31). The gripping portions have an accommodating slot (340) therebetween for receiving a bottom edge of a memory module (200). The accommodating slot (340) has a first accommodating slot (3401) and a second accommodating slot (3402) for receiving a vertical bottom edge (211) and a transverse bottom edge (212) of the memory module (200), respectively. Thereby the memory module (200) could be stably inserted in the card edge connector (100).

摘要： A card edge connector (100) includes an elongated housing (1) and a plurality of contacts (2). The housing (1) has two side walls (103) and a central slot (109) between the two side walls (103) for receiving a memory module (9). The card edge connector (100) includes a latching mechanism (5) mounted on the two side walls (103) for resisting the memory module (9) downwardly. The latching mechanism (5) can prevent the memory module (9) from moving upwardly, thereby the memory module (9) could be stably connected with the card edge connector (100).

The insulative housing has a central slot (12) and one tower portion (13) having a receiving slot (135). The contacts protrude into the central slot. The ejector has a main portion (31) received in the receiving slot, an ejecting portion (34) extending from a lower end (35) of the main portion, a locking portion (32) extending inwardly from an upper end of the main portion, and a lever portion (37) extending outwardly from the upper end of the main portion. The locking portion has a pair of vertical portions (324), and a transverse portion (323). The transverse portion connects the vertical portions and divides the vertical portions into upper and lower retaining parts.

The insulative housing defines a central slot 14 along the longitudinal direction. The locking member 4 is formed with a retention portion 41 and a pair of elastic arms 42 extending upwardly from the retention portion 41 and symmetrically located on two opposite sides of the central slot along a transverse direction perpendicular to longitudinal direction, each elastic arm 42 having a locking portion 321 protruding toward each other for locking with the locking notch 201 of the daughter card 200.

An ejector mechanism is rotatable retained in the housing and has a body portion, a flexible arm divided from the body portion and a locking protrusion located on the flexible arm. The lock protrusion is adapted to resist the tower portion during the ejector mechanism rotates with respect to the housing.

摘要： A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer disposed in the housing. The housing has a center slot extending along a lengthwise direction of the housing and a first tower section at one end thereof. The retainer is rotatably retained in the first tower section and does not extend beyond the first tower along the lengthwise direction, a thickness direction of the housing and a direction opposite to an insertion direction of the electronic card. The retainer has a locker to lock the electronic card and at least a spring sandwiched between the locker and an outer wall of the first tower section to make the locker automatically move in the lengthwise direction in an insertion process of the electronic card.
