    Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electrical switching device, which switches stroke-dependently, with extended switching hysteresis, including a switching element with a contact lever, the switching element cooperating with an actuating element movably guided in a holding device. The actuating element has a step-shaped portion for actuating the contact lever of the switching element and the actuating element has an opening in which an engagement element designed as a bolt or a pin engages when a switching action is initiated.
