Abstract: An optical filter including: a substrate; and a dielectric multilayer film laid on or above at least one major surface of the substrate as an outermost layer, in which: the dielectric multilayer film is a laminate including a low refractive index film and a plurality of high refractive index films laid on each other; the dielectric multilayer film comprises four or more high refractive index films that are 15 nm or smaller in thickness; the high refractive index films have a minimum thickness of 1.5 to 5 nm; the high refractive index films have a minimum thickness of 100 nm or smaller; the high refractive index films satisfy the following spectral characteristics (i-1) and (i-2); and the optical filter satisfies all of the following spectral characteristics (ii-1) to (ii-4).

Abstract: An anti-reflective film-attached transparent substrate includes: a transparent substrate comprising two main surfaces; and a diffusion layer and an anti-reflective film in this order from a transparent substrate side on one main surface of the transparent substrate. When reflection on the other main surface of the transparent substrate is eliminated and a light source is incident on the one main surface at an incident angle of 45°, a* and b* of diffusely reflected lights at angles of −15°, 15°, 25°, 45°, 75°, and 110° with respect to a specularly reflected light under a D65 light source satisfy formulas (1) −6≤a*≤2, (2) −1≤b*≤12 (3) b*≤−2a*+4, and (4) b*≥−2a*−5.

Abstract: An anti-reflective film-attached transparent substrate includes a transparent substrate and an anti-reflective film. The anti-reflective film has a laminated structure in which at least two layers having different refractive indices are laminated, at least one layer is mainly formed of a Si oxide, at least another layer is a mixed oxide layer mainly formed of a mixed oxide containing Mo and Nb, the mixed oxide layer contains an oxide of at least one high hardness metal element selected from the group consisting of W, Cr, Mn, Ni, Zr, Ta, and Be, a proportion of Mo to a total of Mo and Nb in the mixed oxide layer is 60 at % or less, and a proportion of a total of the high hardness metal element to a total of metal elements in the mixed oxide layer is 12 at % or more.

Abstract: An optical filter includes a substrate and a dielectric multilayer film laid as an outermost layer on at least one major surface of the substrate. The dielectric multilayer film includes a low-refractive index film and a high-refractive index film provided alternately. At least one film selected from the group consisting of the low-refractive index film and the high-refractive index film satisfies the following optical characteristics (i-1) and (i-2A): (i-1) an extinction coefficient k600 at a wavelength of 600 nm is 0.12 or larger; and (i-2A) a minimum extinction coefficient k1530-1570MIN in a wavelength range of 1530 to 1570 nm is 0.01 or smaller; and the optical filter satisfies the following optical characteristic (ii-1A): (ii-1A) light in a wavelength range of 400 to 680 nm is blocked and light in the wavelength range of 1530 to 1570 nm is transmitted.
