Abstract: A shoe includes a sole with a midsole, and an upper portion joined to the sole. The midsole includes a cut having a linear shape, and a depth from a first height position to a second height position in a thickness direction. The cut is configured such that a part of the cut has no contact point with an other part of the cut, and the cut forms a V shape at the deepest part on a cross section when opposite inner walls of the cut are spaced from each other.

Abstract: An upper includes an upper main body that covers an instep of a foot. A first region and a second region adjacent to the first region are formed in the upper main body . The upper main body includes: a first linear body provided across the first region and the second region or provided only in the second region; and a second linear body provided in the first region while avoiding the second region and having an end located at a boundary portion between the first region and the second region. The first linear body and the second linear body have mutually different stretchability.

Abstract: A sole includes an upper surface defining a support surface that supports a bottom of a foot of a wearer, a lower surface defining a ground contact surface, and a peripheral surface connecting the upper surface and the lower surface. The upper surface includes an MP joint support region that supports the bottom of the foot at a position corresponding to an MP joint of the foot of the wearer, and the peripheral surface includes a pair of side surfaces including a medial foot side surface located on a medial foot side and a lateral foot side surface located on a lateral foot side. Among the pair of side surfaces, a portion adjacent to the MP joint support region of at least one side surface is provided with an indicator visually indicating that the portion is different from the other portion of the one side surface.

Abstract: A sole includes a midsole, and the midsole includes a toe support portion, a midfoot support portion, and an intervening portion. The sole includes a toe contact surface and a midfoot contact surface. The intervening portion has a recessed portion having a shape recessed from an imaginary curved surface toward a side of a wearer's foot. A length between the imaginary curved surface and the recessed portion is greater than or equal to 13% and less than or equal to 50% of a thickness of a portion of the intervening portion where the recessed portion is provided. The midsole has a front side region surrounded by a front line and a rear line, and an area of the recessed portion in plan view is greater than or equal to 35% and less than or equal to 50% of an area of the front side region in plan view.
