    摘要： A patella resection assembly comprises a handle, slide member and two claw members. The slide member is movably mounted on the handle and includes two diverging arms. Inner edges of the diverging arms contact outer edges of the claw members so that distal movement of the slide member causes the claw members to move toward each other and close around a patella. The claw members and slide member have teeth for grasping the patella as the claw members move together. The claw members also have flat co-planar surfaces for guiding the path of a saw blade during resection of the patella.

A gasket is pivotally coupled to the second bracket, and the gasket has a plurality of plugs configured to be received in the plurality of guide holes of the second bracket.

    摘要： A patella drilling system includes a clamp and a patella drill guide. The clamp includes an arm with a pointed tip that is received in a dimple on the surface of the patella drill guide and another arm with a bone-gripping member spaced from the tip. The clamp is used to hold the patella drill guide firmly against the resected posterior surface of the patella while the surgeon drills into the patella to form holes for mounting pegs on the implant. The clamp may allow the patella drill guide to be pivoted while clamped so that the orientations of the guide bores may be optimized. The system includes an optional cap that may be used on the pointed tip of the clamp to hold the implant firmly in place while the bone cement sets.

The claw member is reversibly mountable on the handle so that the same modules may be used to resect the patellae of both the right and the left knees. The handle has an adjustable member that carries a bone-gripping member. Linear movement of the adjustable member allows the same patella resection assembly to be used to securely grip patellae of various sizes.

The handle includes a housing and a lever moveably coupled to the housing. Each surgical tool of the plurality of surgical tools includes a first clamping element and a second clamping element configured to move relative to the first clamping element. The second clamping element is configured to be coupled to the lever such that moving the lever relative to the housing advances the second clamping element toward the first clamping element to clamp a bone of a patient.
