摘要： The invention provides a non-contact (non-invasive) method for measuring quantity of sebum oil on skin or other substrate. The method includes applying fluorescent lipophilic dye to the substrate site of interest, illuminating the site at the excitation wavelength of the dye, and collecting fluorescent emission of desired wavelength of the dye. Because the measurements are truly non-contact, they can be made in real time on the same sites for any desired length of time.
