摘要: There is disclosed a method and system for predicting a likelihood that a patient is subject to one or more conditions. Retinal signal data corresponding to the patient may be received. Retinal signal features may be extracted from the retinal signal data. Descriptors may be extracted from the retinal signal features. The descriptors may be applied to a first mathematical model and a second mathematical model. The first mathematical model may correspond to a first condition. The second mathematical model may correspond to ta second condition. A first predicted probability for the first condition may be generated. A second predicted probability for the second condition may be generated. The first predicted probability and the second predicted probability may be output.

摘要: An apparatus and method for establishing a global coordinate system to facilitate robotic assisted surgery. The coordinate system may be established using a combination of the robotic data, i.e., kinematics, and optical coherence tomographic images generated by an overhead optical assembly and a tool-based sensor. Using these components, the system may generate a computer-registered three-dimensional model of the patient's eye. In some embodiments, the system may also generate a virtual boundary within the coordinate system to prevent inadvertent injury to the patient.

摘要: A topical subcutaneous microcirculation detection device includes a first light source module, a second light source module, a lens plate, a first light sensor, and a second light sensor. The first and second light source modules are configured to emit first and second illumination beams, respectively. A flat plate portion of the lens plate is disposed to lean against a first portion of skin of a subject. A convex surface of a first convex lens portion of the lens plate is disposed to push into a second portion of the skin of the subject. The first and second illumination beams are reflected into first and second reflected beams by the first and second portions of the skin, respectively. The first and second reflected beams are transmitted to the first and second light sensors, respectively.

摘要: An interoperative light therapy apparatus and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes an excitation light source, a plurality of light emitting devices and a plurality of light detecting fibers, wherein the plurality of light emitting devices produce a fluorescence light in cancerous cells of a patient treated with a photosensitizing medication. The fluorescence light is collected by the plurality of detector fibers and a digital spatial image of the cancerous cells is produced. The digital spatial image is useful for targeting the cancerous cells in a subsequent resection procedure. An interoperative light therapy apparatus is disclosed that further include a therapy light source that can deliver therapy light to the cancerous cells using the digital spatial image in the subsequent resection procedure.

摘要: The invention provides a body-worn monitor that measures a patient's vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, SpO2, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature) while simultaneously characterizing their activity state (e.g. resting, walking, convulsing, falling). The body-worn monitor processes this information to minimize corruption of the vital signs by motion-related artifacts. A software framework generates alarms/alerts based on threshold values that are either preset or determined in real time. The framework additionally includes a series of ‘heuristic’ rules that take the patient's activity state and motion into account, and process the vital signs accordingly. These rules, for example, indicate that a walking patient is likely breathing and has a regular heart rate, even if their motion-corrupted vital signs suggest otherwise.
