Abstract:
Monoazo dyes having a diazo component derived from a 4-amino-7nitro-1,2-benzisothiazole optionally substituted in the 5position by chlorine, bromine, nitro or cyano and a substituted aniline as coupling component. The dyes are eminently suitable for dyeing synthetic linear polyesters.
Abstract:
A process for the production of o-cyano-phenyl and o-cyanobenzoisothiazolyl, azo-p-aminobenzene dyes by replacing a bromine atom in the ortho-position by the cyano group through reaction with a heavy metal cyanide, particularly cuprous cyanide, in an aqueous medium and at elevated temperature.
Abstract:
Production of 2-carbamyl-2-imidazolines by reacting haloacetamides with 1,2-alkylene diamines and elementary sulfur, and the 2-carbamyl-2-imidazolines. The new compounds are auxiliaries for the textile and leather industries, plant protection agents and valuable starting material for the manufacture of textile and leather auxiliaries and plant protection agents.
Abstract:
WHERE R1, R2 and R3 are identical or different and each denotes an alkyl radical, herbicides containing these compounds, and a process for controlling the growth of unwanted plants with these compounds.
New and valuable substituted thetrachloro-benzenes having the formula
Abstract:
Biologically active imidazolino-(1,2-d)-benzo-1,4-thiazepines, their production and their acid addition salts. These compounds, especially as the pharmacologically compatible salts, are useful to dilate coronary vessels of guinea pigs and rabbits and exhibit analgesic, spasmolytic and blood pressure changing properties.
Abstract:
HERBICIDES CONTAINING A COMPOUND HAVING THE FORMULA
3-R,(X)N-1,2-BENZOISOTHIAZOLE
WHERE X AND R EACH DENOTES HALOGEN OR A NITRO, THIOCYANO, AMINO, CYANO OR ALIPHATIC RADICAL, AN ALKYLAMINO, ACYLAMINO, HALOACYLAMINO, ALKOXY OR A SUBSTITUTED UREIDO RADICAL, R MAY ALSO DENOTE HYDROGEN OR AN ARYL, ARALKYL OR CYCLOALIPHATIC RADICAL, AND N DENOTES ONE OF THE INTEGERS 0, 1, 2 AND 3, AND A PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING THE GROWTH OF UNWANTED PLANTS WITH THESE COMPOUNDS.
Abstract:
Production of 2-carbamyltetrahydropyrimidines by reaction of haloacetamides with 1,3-alkylenediamines and elementary sulfur, and the new 2-carbamyltetrahydropyrimidines. The products are auxiliaries for the textile and leather industries, plant protection agents and starting materials for the production of textile auxiliaries, leather auxiliaries and plant protection agents.
